A different take on the usual cocktail favourite, a Moscow Mule!
Ok guys, first things first, I did not drink these Moscow Mules! I wish I could have, because they’re so delicious! I luckily do have a whole repertoire of drinks that I’ll be sharing the next few month, since I clearly won’t be making any new concoctions anytime soon.
Ara is a huge Moscow Mule fan so we invested in these adorable mugs a while back and have been busy filling them with yummy things 😉
Citrus is a favourite of mine when it comes to drinks, so this was a natural mix. It’s extremely similar to a regular Moscow Mule, just has a little more kick to it! Plus it’s extremely easy to make and with minimal ingredients- ginger beer is a great add on to keep at your bar for parties and doesn’t take up too much space. Read on for the recipe and cheers!
Citrus Moscow Mule
A spin on a usual classic
- 1.5 ounces vodka
- 1 ounce orange liqueur
- .5 ounce lime juice
- 1 ounce grapefruit juice
- 2-3 ounces ginger beer
- mint leaves for garnish
Pour vodka and orange liqueur into copper mugs over ice. Add in lime juice and grapefruit juice.
Top with ginger beer
Garnish with remaining citrus slices and mint. Serve and enjoy!
Recipe NotesIt goes without saying that freshly squeezed juice is the way to go! The flavours are more pronounced. Although if you happen to only have juice, I'd still go ahead and make the cocktail!
